Kellie Anderson- Co-Owner
Dr. Kellie Anderson has been working in the child care field for the last twenty-four years. Dr. Anderson attended Texas A&M University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She then earned her Master of Arts in Early Childhood from the University of California at Santa Barbara. In addition, Dr. Anderson obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology from Texas A&M University. Dr. Anderson has worked in several child care centers previous to opening Stepping Stones. While in Santa Barbara, she received her Resources for Infant Educarers Associate certificate. Kellie Anderson has been married to her husband for the last fourteen years and has two children.

Erin McDowell- Co-Owner
Erin McDowell has been working in the child care industry for the last seventeen years. Mrs. McDowell attended Texas A&M University and earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a specialization in Early Childhood. She also earned her Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University. Mrs. McDowell worked in many different child care centers throughout her college career. In addition, she taught in the public school district and at a local preschool here in The Woodlands previous to opening Stepping Stones. Erin McDowell has been married to her husband for the last eleven years and has two children.

Jessica Mendoza- Falconwing Director
Jessica Mendoza has been working in the child care field for the last thirteen years. Ms. Mendoza earned her Child Development Associate certificate in 2004. She has worked in many different child care centers in the area previous to joining Stepping Stones. In addition, Ms. Mendoza has been with Stepping Stones for the last eight years. She earned her Director’s certificate in 2010. Jessica Mendoza has one child who attends Stepping Stones.

Chanda Mathieu- Cranebrook Director
Chanda Mathieu has been working in the child care industry for the last seventeen years. Mrs. Mathieu attended Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. She also earned her Child Development Associate certificate in 2003. Mrs. Mathieu worked as a personal nanny previous to working at Stepping Stones. She has worked for Stepping Stones for the last eight years. Mrs. Mathieu earned her Director’s certificate in 2009. Chanda Mathieu has been married to her husband for the last fifteen years and has two children.

Tiffany Thumann
Falconwing Administrative Assistant
Tiffany Thumann has been working in the child care field for ten years. Mrs. Thumann earned her Child Development Associate certificate in 2006. She worked in several area child care centers previous to working for Stepping Stones. Mrs. Thumann has been working at Stepping Stones for the last six years. Tiffany recently married her fiancee. They have been married for four months now. She has one child who attends Stepping Stones.
