THE WOODLANDS TAEKWON-DO

Taekwon-Do is a Korean martial art that promotes health, fitness, well-being and self-defense. Taekwon-Do is taught according to the guidance of the late General Choi Hong Hi, the originator of Taekwon-Do.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy of a smaller class offering ensures that learning will take place in a safe, nurturing environment. We care about our students and families. We provide a supportive, positive environment for learning and personal growth.

How your child benefits from Taekwon-Do

Taekwon-Do is a total learning activity that helps kids reach goals they never thought possible. Our class lessons are tailored to your child's age and skill level. Your child begins by practicing basic patterns and forms, board breaking, kicking, blocking, striking, and punching. These fundamental skills increase your child's physical coordination, flexibility, balance, and mental sharpness.

BALLET

It is time to start this year’s classes and to give you some general information about the class as well as myself. This year will be my fifth year as a Dance Instructor/Director for Extreme Performing Arts here in The Woodlands and at our other location, in Magnolia, called Dance Connections. I started dancing at the age of five and have had many years in dance training and experience. It was something that had started out as a fun hobby and has now become a great love and passion in my life. I enjoy now more than anything being able to share this love and knowledge of dance I have through teaching.

We had an amazing and fun-filled time last year and expect an even greater one this time around. These dance classes will introduce rhythm, music and dance into your child’s life. They will not only teach dance but coordination and discipline as well. There will be an ending show in May that your family and friends will be invited to watch. I hope you will consider letting me share my love of dance with your child.
